EX04-000D is a professional DVB-T/T2 modulator/exciter with the capability to broadcast DVB-T / T2 signal or simultaneously two DVB-T two signals at the same time. The EX04-000D is in full compliance with EN300744 and EN302755 standards. By utilizing this modulator as the exciter of TV transmitters it is possible to transmit two independent transport streams on two different channels at the same time with only one transmitter. This astonishing feature can help broadcasters to realize very economic solutions. Furthermore an internal self-contained IRD/Remux totally obviates any need for external subheadends. Thanks to this optional feature it is possible to demodulate up to four transport streams from DVB-T/T2 or DVB-S/S2 signals.

These transmitters are in full compliance with the latest version of DVB-T and DVB-T2 standards and are equipped with a wide variety of features which make them a comprehensive solution for broadcasters. They are proposed in different models with respect to the output power including 5W, 10W, 50W, 100W and 200W in the whole UHF band. The most noteworthy feature of these transmitters is the distinctive capability of broadcasting two independent Transport Streams (TS) on two different channels at the same time. This great feature is obtained by employing state of the art technology in the dual output modulator of the transmitter.


 

 

The series TX04-xxx belongs to the Low Power product family of TV Transmitters fully solid state technology, air cooled. The family is available for the UHF Band, is designed for a wide range of TV broadcast standards, as well Analog and Digital emission. These include analog TV standards (B/G, D/K, M/N, I), color coding standards (SECAM, PAL, NTSC), (FM mono, IRT dual-sound/stereo and NICAM), digital TV standards (DVB-T, DVB-T2, ATSC). 


 TV TRANSMITTER TX04-303FL

This UHF TV transmitter family ranges from the analogue TX04-153A , 15.0 kWpsync (alias the TX04-502D , 5.0 kW rms in DVBT/T2) down to the Analogue 3.0 kWpsync (or 1.0 kW rms DVB-T/T2) provided by the TX04-302A (alias TX04-102D), when the same structure is equipped at the minimum level. These equipment belong to the High Power series of TV Transmitters, solid state LDMOS technology, Liquid Cooled. The transmitter, broadband covering the full UHF Band 4&5 , is designed for operating in a wide range of TV standards , namely the analogue TV (B/G, D/ K, M/N, I, colour coding standards SECAM, PAL, NTSC, sound FM mono, IRT dual-sound/stereo and NICAM) and the digital TV standards (DVBT, DVB-T2, ATSC , ISDBT).


 

 

The PA04-501C/PA04-181D Amplifier is designed for the UHF band power amplification process. The unit employs last generation solid state LDMOS transistor in order to obtain high reliability and efficiency. It operates as a wideband amplifier over the full frequency band so that no adjustment is required a channel change. The cooling system is performed with forced air by means two blowers installed inside the rack and the fully integrated mechanical structure itself provides to convey the air toward the RF module heat-sink and the power supply unit.


 

Designed for analog and digital TV transmitters and transposers this RF amplifier incorporates latest design based on microstrip and stripline technology, PTFE PCB, planar balun and the latest LDMOS device from NXP to obtain the higher ruggedness and reliability maintaining the compatibility with the previous generation of LDMOS devices. Very low thermal resistance is obtained by means of the silver plated copper baseplate with the same size of the printed circuit board.  The RF block amplifier (pallet) is easy replaceable without any alignment, it comprises circuits for stabilising the operating point in the whole temperature range.
